Mail Art James Wilkinson 2014

James Wilkinson in Tyne and Wear, U.K. has a brilliant mail art idea! He uses clear cellophane or plastic taped off as the envelope so the mail art is visible yet protected from water damage, inks and stains. I have used plastic and waxed paper on the contents of mail art envelopes to mostly protect from water damage. Making the envelope out of something water repellent is even better. He packed in a drawing, artist trading cards, zines and a letter. It made a real impression when I got it in my mailbox; I was so excited to receive this envelope!
