Snow Fort Modification

A tale in which I hack the snow fort of two young boys on the block…

We’ve had a decent amount of snow in Chicago and this leads to childhood architecture.  Two young boys and their parents were around in the yard yesterday.  They went old school / igloo method: pile up a lot of snow, pack it down, tunnel your way in.  There was a window on the other side of this one.  They got two of them done.  I was walking the dogs, and the gaping maw of the tiny snow fort looked a lot like a weird fish.

So of course, I had to go and mess with this.  I used two styrofoam plates and some cardboard.  I just pulled it together in a few minutes.

Talk about a bad time to have no colored, fuzzy crafting pipe-cleaners.
