Circuit Board Instrument
Moldover from San Francisco brought a class to Pumping Station: One tonight; the excitement is his design for an interactive CD package that is a playable musical instrument. Everyone in the class got a CD of his music and a circuit board with all of the components which we soldered together to make the piece. Part of the interactivity is a pair light sensors that are part of the design. The quality and intensity of the light changes the tone of the sound emitted. An LED in the center lights up when the button is pressed to activate the device. I learned soldering and some very basic electronics information. Learn more in the short video below:
